How I Went From Overwhelmed to Living Authentically

For most of my life, I've struggled with anxieties, self-doubt, and digestive issues. No matter what I tried, I was left feeling burnt out and not quite right in my own body.

Every part of my life was affected.

When going out with friends, I would worry about what I'd be able to eat. And even when being careful, I would feel bloated, gassy, and uncomfortable.

At work, I felt constant pressure, working myself until I had nothing left.

Even in my downtime, my brain was always "on". I constantly multi-tasked and felt like I needed to be as productive as possible.

When I was with my family, I wasn't fully present. My mind would always be on overtime.

I needed to stop and slow down.

Too many times I found myself on my bedroom floor crying and writhing in pain. My chest killing me. Stabbing pains in my stomach. Trouble breathing.

My body was struggling and crying out for help. She was begging me to listen and take better care of her.

I wanted to give up. I felt like my anxiety, pains, worries, and digestive issues had taken control over my life.

Enter, my self-love journey.

One morning, I woke up, looked in the mirror, and promised myself that things were going to change for the better. I needed a long-term, life-changing solution.

And that's when it clicked. When I realized how the way I talked to myself and took care of my mind and body really affected wellbeing, I was able to learn how to truly feel better.

Through therapy, coaching, and personal development, I took all the knowledge and wisdom I received from experts and created my own plan to heal my relationship with both my body and myself.

And what I really needed during all of this was:

  • to give myself grace when I wasn't "perfect" at a goal or habit instead of beating myself up.
  • support, encouragement, and accountability from someone who knew what I was going through.
  • to feel understood and as though I wasn't crazy for all the different emotions and physical sensations I was feeling!
  • to learn how to love myself.

I realized that my purpose is to give that same power and confidence to other women finding themselves in the same situation.

I support and encourage each client as she works towards a healthy relationship with herself and uncovers the most authentic version of herself.
